The main goal of the On Q Fury Cheer Dance Team is to give dancers
professional technical training and opportunities to perform their art at
the next level. Being part of a team helps build
self-esteem, confidence, good sportsmanship and lasting friendships.
The Fury travels throughout Ohio competing at different
UDA competitions. Along with
competing, the Fury performs in several parades, a Company Showcase, and two
yearly recitals. The most recent Fury performance was the Harlem
Globetrotter half time show in the new Lucas County Arena.
Yearly auditions for the Fury are every May for the upcoming
season. On Q is a technique based studio
and audition ages are a guideline. Children will be placed in
groups based on audition outcome, not by age.
All Fury members are required to take a Jazz class, in addition to their weekly
Cheer class. Fury members are also encouraged to take Acro and are required to take summer classes.
Anyone interested in becoming part of the Fury can contact
the studio by phone or email.
